My review:
You know those series you have been meaning to read for years and years, you collect all the books in that series but still never get around to read them? This is one of those series. And of course, this book was amazing and I’m smacking myself over the head for not reading this book/series sooner.

Joanne is a feisty character, fun to read about, and she’s surrounded by super hot men. Lucky girl. She’s on the run and we learn bits and pieces about her and her situation as she runs towards Lewis, while picking up a hitch hiking Djinn or two along the way. There is heaps of action and adventure, car chases and weather fights as Joanne is a Weather Warden, and she’s bad-ass.

There’s also a very cool ending that I didn’t see coming and I am so totally excited for the next book to see what will happen- this is like a huge plot twist, so the series is going to be completely different after this! Plus I need to read more about David, cos he’s hot.

Final review:
Ill Wind rating:
Would I re-read it? Hell yes
Who would I recommend it to? For fans of paranormal romances featuring Djinn and magic, anyone interested in the weather as there is a bit of weather theory in this book, fans of romances with quirky/strong/kick-ass heroines.
