My review:
Hannah Howell – Highland Blood
Okay I liked this book. It’s set in the highlands (a current favourite setting of mine, thank you Outlander- look what you’ve started!) and it’s a fun little story. Adeline is a caring young lady whose looking after an abandoned child as if it was her own, and when his life is in danger, Adeline leaves the only home she’s ever known to try and give the child a chance. On the way she meets the very hot Lachann, a vampire, who happens to be kin to Adeline’s adopted child who is also a vampire, and then on the road to safety, hot things happy between Lachann and Adeline and it’s pretty fun to read. I definitely want to read more books in this series if they are similar to this story, it was entertaining and action packed and the characters were fantastic.

Alexandra Ivy- Taken by Darkness
Juliet is a ‘mongrel’, a halfbreed witch and imp, and she’s the mate of Victor, powerful clan vampire of London. Victor and Juliet battle a Jinn to save Levet, who has been taken hostage by the Jinn. That’s the basic story, and it was a fun little story set in ye olde London. Victor and Juliet are cute characters but I didn’t quite click with them as I have with some of the other characters of this series- but this is an important little book as the events in this feature in the next book, so it’s a good little read. Plus it was fun.

Kaitlin O’Riley- Immortal Dreams
So Grace is having vivid sex dreams about Philip, who ends up being real- a vampire who in her past life was hooking up with her and in love with her, and these dreams are visions of her past life. That was the general gist of the story, not much actually happened apart from that. I didn’t really like this story all that much, Grace wasn’t that great a character and Philip/Stuart/Whatever he calls himself, he was a bit of a douche. Out of the three, this was my least favourite story.

Final review:
